An innovative solution available at Dezinerwallz is to disguise the exit doors to look like... well, anything but doors.
A challenge for many senior care facilities is the tendency for residents to want to find a way out of the facility. Exit seeking behavior can potentially be a serious and dangerous problem for residents and the facility’s staff members.
Our preference at Dezinerwallz is to use biophilic/ nature images for our exit door murals. We prefer using nature images because in addition to helping deal with exit seeking behaviour, biophilic door murals offer all of the same benefits for the residents and the staff, both physical and emotional, as our wall murals do.
